Sounds Like Teen Spirit
Follow the journey of four aspiring artists as they showcase their talents in Europe’s largest child song-writing contest: the Junior Eurovision Song Contest. Be touched by the candid stories and insights from 10-year-old Giorgos from Cyprus, 13-year-old Mariam from Georgia, 14-year-old Marina from Bulgaria and 15-year-old Laurens from Belgium. Each has their own unique background, style and song, but they share the same goal: to perform their best and make their nation proud at the Junior Eurovision. Featuring music by ABBA, Roxy Music, The Who, Sebastien Tellier, Henry Mancini and Belgium’s infamous Singing Nun, Sounds Like Teen Spirit is comic and moving in turns, but above all it is a heart-warming celebration of the struggles of growing up, and the excitement and difficulties of being a kid.
