Courtesy of the Farmers Santa Parade you could win these wonderful stocking fillers: Simon Optix and Hearing Things

The team behind the largest Christmas Parade in the country is working as hard as Santa’s elves to make this, the 85th year of the Farmers Santa Parade, the best ever. Families from all over the country will come together on Sunday the 25th of November to witness the astonishing 3,500 plus participants who bring this incredible parade to festive life.

Joining the FREE line-up of parade favourites in 2018 are some familiar faces in new giant inflatable form – Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Captain Hook and a specially designed Thomas the Tank Engine, which has been created by Mattel for New Zealand. Parade goers will also be treated to a myriad of colourful new costumes along with all new floats featuring The Beginning of Time, The Nutcracker and Lost Boys.

The much-loved regulars include Clifford the Big Red Dog, Geronimo Stilton, Pinkfong & Yellow Shark, Peter Rabbit, Moe, Queen Elsa, Farmers Santa Bears, Where’s Wally? and more!

The Farmers Santa Parade will be followed by the party of the year, Santa’s Party in Aotea Square. Watch this space for a line-up of exciting guests still to come!

This year’s Farmers Santa Parade kicks off at 1pm on Sunday the 25th of November, with pre-parade entertainment from 12PM. If Santa brings the North Pole weather with him, the rain date is Sunday the 2nd of December.
